The sauvignon blanc vines were planted in 2007. The planting consisted of the F4V6 clone grafted onto 101-14 rootstock. Sauvignon blanc grapes do well in the Highlands producing a wine that is quite different to the bulk of sauvignon blanc on the market – balanced and with surprising finesse.
Subtle lemon and passionfruit aromas lead to a fresh palate with light grassiness and crisp acidity. Delightfully nuanced, it’s a great accompaniment to salads, smoked salmon and delicate fish dishes, and is delicious by itself.
